Looking for kid-centric neighborhoods in Toronto for our family

We're new to Toronto and on the hunt for rentals that are great for kids. Ideally, we’d love a place close to schools and parks, plus some spaces for play and recreation. Any advice on neighborhoods or practical tips for securing a lease as international students would be much appreciated!
