Seeking flexible lease options near TTC subway lines

I'm looking for a place in Toronto near TTC subway lines but don't want to commit long-term. Ideally, I'd love month-to-month leases or options that convert to monthly after a year. My plans are a bit uncertain, so any landlords open to short-term leases would be great!
