What’s the ideal apartment size for WFH with a pet?

I’m searching for a pet-friendly apartment in Toronto and I'd love to hear about WFH space needs. Is a dedicated office essential, or can I make do with a shared space? Also, is 500 sqft enough, or would a studio be too small? Any advice on the best areas for pet-friendly rentals?
