Can landlords restrict smoking and vaping in apartments?

I'm curious about the smoking policies for rentals in Toronto. Can landlords ban smoking and vaping altogether? Are there regulations regarding cannabis use in condos? Additionally, are designated smoking areas available or is balcony smoking permitted? Would love to understand these rules better!
