Landlord entering without proper notice? What are my rights?

I'm really anxious about the rental process here in Toronto. I keep hearing stories about landlords entering apartments without proper notice or showing places on short notice. It feels like a huge invasion of privacy. What are my rights regarding these entries? How much notice should I expect?
