GO Train from Mississauga to Downtown - Thoughts?

I've recently transitioned to an empty nester and am considering using the GO Train from Mississauga to downtown Toronto for my commutes. How reliable is the transit? Also, I'm curious about the GO Train schedule and the cost of a monthly GO pass. Any tips on navigating this would be appreciated!
