This rental market is a nightmare! Why is everything so expensive?!

Another rent increase?! Seriously? Just when I thought I found a decent place, the landlord wants $2800 for a bachelor! It's like they think we're all made of money. I’m so sick of viewing places, only to find out they were snatched up within hours. This is beyond frustrating!
