Moving Day Elevator Booking - What's the Deal?

I'm hitting the streets of Toronto this weekend for moving day and just found out I need to book the elevator in advance. The building rules are stressing me out. Do I have to pay a move-in fee too? Any tips for parking a moving truck nearby? It feels like a logistical nightmare!
