Question about lease clauses that seem a bit strange

I just signed a lease in Toronto, but there's a clause saying I can't hang any pictures on the walls or use any of the common areas after 10 PM. Is this normal? I feel like it's a bit restrictive, and I'm wondering what rights I have about this. Anyone else encountered weird rules like this?
