Frustrating Landlord Experience - Broken Promises!

I've been trying to reach my landlord about a leaking faucet for weeks, but it's like I'm talking to a brick wall. He promised to fix it last month, and now it's just getting worse. On top of that, my security deposit is still hanging in limbo. Why is it so hard to get a simple response?
