Concern About Condo Special Assessment and Renters

I just learned about a special assessment that could affect us renters. I'm worried about whether I'll have to pay a portion of these extra condo fees or if my rent will increase because of this. Has anyone else experienced a rent hike or even thought about leaving due to assessment costs?
