Confused about crazy lease clauses? Need advice!

I just signed a lease and noticed it includes a clause about keeping my blinds open during the day. Is this even legal? My landlord insists it’s to ‘maintain curb appeal,’ but it feels really intrusive. Is that a common request in Toronto? Any advice would be appreciated!
