Are Rental Bidding Wars Over in 2025?

I’m really confused about the rental market in Toronto right now. Are bidding wars still a thing, or has the competition cooled down? It feels like I still need to offer more than the listed rent just to secure a place. Anyone else dealing with this frustrating situation?
