Is $2200 for a 1BR in Leslieville reasonable?

I'm moving to Toronto for work and found a 1-bedroom in Leslieville for $2200. It seems like a nice area, but I'm not sure if the rent is fair for this neighborhood. What have you all seen in terms of pricing and amenities around here? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
