Rents are skyrocketing and I can't take it anymore!

Another rent increase, seriously? How is anyone supposed to afford this? Landlord wants $2800 for a bachelor?! Just got outbid on yet another place. I swear, I viewed 15 listings this week and they were all gone within hours. This market is impossible to navigate.
