Issues with Unannounced Construction in My Rental Apartment

I've recently moved to Toronto and was caught off guard by unexpected renovations in my building. The construction noise has made it difficult to focus on work during the day. Is there a way to formally address this with my landlord to discuss scheduling or at least get updates on what to expect?
