Best time to look for rentals in November?

Hi everyone! I'm starting my apartment search in Toronto and heard that November could be a good time to find deals, especially in neighborhoods like Leslieville or Danforth. Is this true? Also, are there any hidden costs I should watch out for when renting? Thanks!
