Is 90 minutes too much for the TTC?

My new job is downtown, but I'm stuck in Scarborough and my commute is a nightmare. I can’t believe I have to dedicate 90 minutes each way just to get to the office! I love my job, but this is really draining me. Anyone else facing a long commute? How do you cope?
