Thinking about renting in Leslieville!

I’ve been eyeing Leslieville for my first apartment. It seems super charming with all the coffee spots and parks, but I’m curious about the rental prices. Are they as bad as people say? Also, how’s the vibe? Anyone got recent experiences there?
