How is anyone affording to live in Toronto these days?

I’m genuinely confused about how people manage to live in Toronto now. What income do you need? It seems like only the rich can afford it with all the rising costs. I thought downsizing would help, but I'm left wondering – who can afford this place anymore? How do regular folks make it work?
