Anyone keep tabs on apartment cost at a specific location. I have seen some recent "discounts 7%" but the price seems oddly high. 🤔

I am getting apartment hunting blues. I can't keep up with it. I wish I could hire an ADHD apartment finding coach. Lol. Who can keep up with the cost of the ones you like before and after? I have seen some claim a reduction of 2% to 7% yesterday. I have a limited budget. Like most here too. It looks like the cost went up but the claims say it went down? If I had a list of costs by location from a month ago I could compare. And now I am kicking myself for not recording them. The emails come in "one you liked has discounted" All i know it is still higher than I could sustain. So did I like it? No. I only like the ones that I can carry but with some extra sacrifice. Then was hoping they go down in December instead I am being slapped by an increase in the guise of a decrease? I can't prove it!! Why? Because I should have a list I made and made it a month ago. I even joined an older women's group seeking coshares. Compatibility is key snd 5 visits with people is recommended on the site to ensure that it does not become s personality conflict zone. I talked to one person on Roomies, my age, thought I should be relegated to my room. Not roam the common areas. No living room access --- is that par for the course? She did not want to let anyone sit on her sofa for fear it will become a habit, or wear out the fabric? I dodged a bullet. However when will this war end? Any tips? How fast is one supposed to be able to find a good fit?? I am currently renting a month to month. But how many months is this going to take. Should I find something mid month. These folks are not going to return my half month. Them's the breaks.
