Worried about condo special assessment costs for renters?

I'm really concerned about the special assessment affecting my condo rental. Do renters have to cover these increased condo fees? I’m worried about a potential rent increase because of it, and with my lease ending soon, I might have to leave if costs go up too much. Anyone else in this situation?
