Why do I keep losing apartments in Toronto? Help!

Lost another apartment to someone else! It feels like my applications get rejected left and right. I keep competing with multiple applicants, and I just don’t understand what makes someone stand out. How do I improve my chances of getting approved? Anyone have strategies to share?
