Are condo amenities worth the extra rent in Toronto?

I'm debating if the additional costs for condo amenities like gyms and pools are truly justified. Many places offer cheaper rent without these perks. How often do we actually use these amenities, and are we paying for things we don't need? A value analysis could shed light on this dilemma.
