Is the pet deposit legal in Ontario?

I'm a landlord in Toronto and I'm really confused about the rules around pet deposits. Can I ask for a pet deposit, or is that illegal in Ontario? Also, if I raise the rent, what's the maximum I can increase it by? Are pet fees different from deposits? What can I actually charge for pets?
