Parking fees on top of sky-high rents? Unbelievable!

Another week, another headache. It's bad enough that I'm shelling out $2500 a month for a tiny apartment, but now I find out parking is an extra $300?! Seriously? How is anyone supposed to live in this city? The landlords act like it's a luxury just to have a spot for my car!
