Will Toronto rents ever really decrease near the subway?

I've been wondering if rents in Toronto will ever go down, especially near TTC lines. They seem to keep climbing every year, and I can't help but think if we'll ever see a drop. Are market predictions suggesting the prices will only go up, or is there hope for lower rents in the future?
