Is my landlord allowed to raise the rent this much in East York?

I just received a notice that my rent in East York will increase from $1,800 to $2,200 next month. I know there are laws regulating rent increases in Ontario, but I'm confused about how much they can raise it. Is this increase legal? Anyone else in a similar situation?
