Advice needed on downsizing to a condo in the Beaches!

Hey everyone! I'm an empty nester looking to downsize from my house in the suburbs to a condo in the Beaches. I've been seeing prices around $2,800 to $3,200 for 1-bedrooms. Is that reasonable for the area? Any tips on finding a good rental or what to prioritize? Thanks!
