Are Bidding Wars Still Happening for Rentals in 2025?

I'm curious about the current rental competition in Toronto for two-bedroom places. Are bidding wars still a thing, or has the market cooled down? Do you still need to offer above asking, or is it possible to find something reasonable without bidding? Any insights?
