Is Leslieville still the go-to for young renters?

I've been considering Leslieville since I've heard it's become super popular with young families and creatives alike. The cafes are cute, but I can't help but wonder if it’s getting too pricey. Is it still feasible for a single renter? Anyone finding good deals there lately?
