Thinking about moving to the Damask Ave area in Toronto!

I've been looking to downsize now that the kids are out of the house. The Damask Ave area caught my eye, but I’d love to hear from people who know it. How’s the community vibe? Is it safe? And what are the transit options like? Any insights on rent prices would be great too!
