Need advice on rent increase in St. Clair West

Hi everyone! My landlord just informed me that my rent will be going up to $2,500 next month. I’m currently paying $2,150. Is this increase legal under the current rent control guidelines? Also, are other rents in St. Clair West around this price? Thanks for any insights!
