Subletting Confusion - What Are My Rights?

I'm looking to sublet my apartment in Toronto but I'm unsure what the legal requirements are. Do I need my landlord's approval? Also, what happens if I want to sublet from someone else? Any advice on tenant rights would be appreciated!
