Is it just me or is Cabbagetown getting pricier?

I've been eyeing places in Cabbagetown and it feels like rent is skyrocketing lately! Anyone living there that can shed light on what's actually happening? I love the vibe and greenery, but I’m worried I might have to compromise on my budget. How’s the rental scene treating you folks?
