Weird heating clause in my lease? Is this normal for Toronto?

I just signed a lease for a one-bedroom in Leslieville and noticed a clause stating the landlord reserves the right to enter for 'routine heating checks' during winter. Is this a common practice? I thought they needed notice for entry. What should I do if I'm uncomfortable with this?
