Anyone else feel the pain of long commutes?

I just moved to the east end and my commute to downtown is stretching over 90 minutes each way. I love the place, but I'm not sure how much longer I can keep this up. Public transit should be easier, right? Anyone else feel like we're getting the short end of the stick?
