Can landlords restrict smoking cannabis on the balcony?

I'm curious about the smoking policies for apartments and condos in Toronto. Can landlords ban smoking, including cannabis, or designate specific areas for it? Are there rules around balcony smoking, and what about vaping? I'd love to understand how these policies work in different buildings!
