Are utilities included in Toronto sublets during winter?

I'm considering subletting an apartment in Toronto for the winter months. I’ve heard mixed things about utilities being included in the rent. Does anyone know if it's common for sublets to include heating and electricity, or should I expect to pay those separately? Any advice would be great!
