Living in Parkdale vs. Leslieville: Which is better?

I'm torn between renting in Parkdale or Leslieville. On one hand, Parkdale offers diverse culture and funky cafes, but I hear it can be a bit rough around the edges. Leslieville seems quieter, with nice parks, but it might feel too suburban for my taste. Anyone have insights on vibes and amenities?
