Rent increases and bidding wars are driving me crazy!

Another rent increase, seriously? How is anyone supposed to afford this? Just got outbid AGAIN on a place I thought was mine, and the landlord wants $2800 for a bachelor! This market is impossible. I viewed 15 places last week and they were all gone within HOURS. So sick of this!
