Is the GO Train reliable for commuting to downtown Toronto?

I'm considering renting in Mississauga and using the GO Train to get to downtown Toronto. How reliable is the GO Train? What’s the frequency like on weekdays? Also, is a monthly GO pass worth it for the regular commute? Appreciate any insights on the transit experience!
