Why are Toronto moving costs so expensive? Is it just me?

I can’t believe how high moving costs in Toronto are! The average moving price is outrageous, plus there's that ridiculous elevator booking fee. Is it really cheaper to DIY, or will I just end up exhausted and regret it? So many hidden expenses! Has anyone else faced this?”
