Why is Leslieville getting so pricey?

I've noticed that rental prices in Leslieville are climbing like crazy lately. It's such a vibrant area with amazing cafes and parks, but is it still worth the money? Anyone else feeling the pinch or have thoughts on whether it’s a good investment this season?
