Looking for mid-term rental alternatives in Toronto!

I’m a first-time renter in Toronto and need a furnished place for 1-3 months. The Airbnb prices for extended stays are insane! Does anyone know of more budget-friendly alternatives? Also, what should I know about deposits and leases? Anxious about this whole process.
