Need advice on subletting my apartment in East York for winter

Hey everyone! I'm looking to sublet my 1-bedroom apartment in East York starting in January while I travel. It's $1,800/month, but I'm not sure if that's reasonable for the area this time of year. Also, any tips on the legal requirements for subletting in Toronto? Thanks!
