Beyond Frustrated: Toronto's Rental Nightmare for Families

I can't believe this. Just got outbid AGAIN for a two-bedroom in a decent school district! Why do landlords think it's okay to jack up rent by $400 in a year?! Landlord wanted $2800 for a bachelor! Who can afford this for a box!? Schools and safety matter, but at this rate, what do we do?!
