Is Leslieville still the place to be for young renters?

I've been eyeing rental listings in Leslieville and can't help but wonder if it still lives up to its rep for being a vibrant spot with great transit access. The parks and cafes are lovely, but are the rents still reasonable? Would love to hear what current residents think about the vibe!
