My landlord's neglect is ruining my peace with constant noise!

For weeks now, my landlord has scheduled renovations with no heads-up, and the noise is driving me up the wall! The hallway is a mess, and I can’t even hear myself think. It’s frustrating that they chose to disrupt our lives without considering the tenants' comfort. Can someone else relate?
