Is constant construction noise during renovations normal?

My landlord started major renovations in the building, and now there’s constant hammering and drilling during the day. I'm struggling to focus and feel uneasy with all the disruptions. Is it typical for tenants to endure this level of noise for an extended period? What are my rights?
